WOW what an amazing day.

The Lions Club of Warrandyte have been running "In the Driver's Seat" for over 20 years

This day is run completely by volunteers. The Lions Club invite people who are visually impaired to come to Sandown Motor Circuit to do a few laps in a dual control car.

This was an absolute thrill for me to watch the excitement on the faces of these VIPs (Visually Impaired Persons). There was a lot of instruction going on as we explained what we could see and what was coming up for them. There were lots of laughs, and smiling faces everywhere. Amazing. I will never forget this day and look forward to doing it again next year.
